LEONARDO ROJAS - SANTIAGO CHILE - GODOY MACHINES PROFESSIONAL

What a discovery!!! This guy tied for first place at the Guadalajara tattoo convention last September... he tied with another one of professionals - Manuel Servin from Mexico. At the time, they were not sponsored by Godoy Machines.. after that convention they were. Look at this work. This is world class stuff. The smoothness of the fades, the solidness of the color.

This is only a small sample of this excellent work!

Look at the stomach and the perfect t... t... tones of color.

Everything down to the last detail is taken into consideration. Realism is true art.

THANK YOU LEONARDO ROJAS... FOR YOUR HARD WORK AND BEING PART OF THE SOLUTION!!!

HIGH END MACHINE OR HIGH END HYPE.

What constitutes a High End tattoo machine? In an industry that has no standard and still sells "entry level" machines and kits - WHEN THE IS NO ROOM FOR "ENTRY LEVEL" IN ART THAT REQUIRES SKILL AND PRECISION? WHERE HEALTH AND CLIENT SAFETY IS ALSO A MAJOR CONCERN!

FOR ANY SUPPLIER TO BELIEVE THAT THERE IS AN ENTRY LEVEL KIT, MACHINE OR PRODUCT IS AN INSULT TO THE CLIENT AND TO MODERN RESPONSIBLE TATTOOING.

A KIT...

What are the credentials of these builders or suppliers? Maybe they have a fancy french name or the all american name which brings romantic images of nostalgic Americana to mind? maybe it's a long German name... maybe they don't tattoo. Just like most of these suppliers who carry these products and push them as what they're advertised.. yet they don't know what is needed to make that machine a shader or liner and they do not take responsibility for the product's function or lack of function, they have no clue how to diagnose or repair any problem! He sells it and then hopes the builder knows what he's talking about, the builder who has made up his own criteria.

Once there was a quote from a builder that went "tattoo machines are a constant learning experience.." . Constant? if he was an expert, and this one seemed to be considered one by the prestigious magazine which interviewed him, he would have learned that there are specific requirements all electromagnetic machines need to function at their highest potential.

These things, these characteristics (specifications, geometry, material, gauges, spring flexibility, coil permeability) are critical because of the dependence that each component has on another. There can be no deviation on many of these objectives. From the current which causes a magnetic field once it passes from the wall to the power supply, into the binding posts, into the terminals... through the wire saturating the steel core (which IS your magnet) causing an attraction of the armature bar, discharging the circuit and allowing the rear spring to take the armature bar back up to the contact screw... all these components have a function which should not be taken for granted. This is only a brief description of function... never mind the specifications on the frame, gauges and material the wire and springs are made from. Yet, what is considered a "high end" machine has substandard objectives. High End?? There is no validity to their claims.

Backward innovations... Failed Knowledge, hype, false claims... educate yourselves, don't leave room for mediocrity to enter our world. We can regulate. Educate yourselves.

GODOY MACHINES - WE OFFER HIGH END PROFESSIONAL MACHINES, PATENTED INNOVATIONS, & TRUE EDUCATION.

JOHN GUTTI - MEDELLIN COLOMBIA - GODOY MACHINES

John Guttie is somewhat of a phenomenon for the amount of time has been tattooing. Handling
effortlessly, pieces considered to be "difficult" by 'veterans' of the art! To many north American artists, there is nothing south of their borders yet in our global travels we have found this to be untrue... Here is an example of an artist who can compete globally. He is from a city which has been associated with drug cartels and violence for many years.. and is now considered a major tourist attraction... come to the city for the beaches.. for the food and for the night life... HERE IS A NEW REASON TO COME...

,

"I was born in the city of Medellin on January 23, 1986, from childhood, I have felt an affinity for tattoos and art, and getting tattooed for the first time at 15 years old! My style is defined by my specialty - realism in both shading and in color, the latter being the category in which I compete in at the conventions that I attend. You have to attend conventions, to increasingly gain recognition for your work. And that's what I do. I have been tattooing 5 years so far and growing every day as an artist , i am an architect by profession and a Tattoo Artist by passion! I tattoo in the city of Medellin at STUDIO 13"

"Sanitarium... Just leave me alone!!!""' guess who? John Guttie knows...

DANIELLE OBEROSLER - GODOY MACHINES PROFESSIONAL - U.S.A.

The first time we met Danielle was a very long time ago, probably in 1993 when she tattooed at Melrose Tattoo in Hollywood... she had talent then and more so now! She is an industry veteran who understands technique.

"I tattoo at my shop in Simi Valley, California called The Tattoo Room. I was a columnist for Skin & Ink Magazine for 10 years. I've been tattooing for 19 years. I can tattoo any style but particularly love doing portraits and pin ups. Photo realism is fun. I like listening to Last of the Bad Men when I work, or the smooth sounds of my expertly tuned Godoy Machines!"

GODOY "SUPERFLY" MACHINE REVIEW - BY MIKEY CARRASCO

"The Godoy's "Superfly" is hands down the most versatile and easy to use tattoo machine I have ever used. I've tried others (FK Irons, Aaron Cain, Infinite Irons, etc.) and they are not anywhere near as comfortable and perfectly tuned. The Superfly saturates color, lays clean lines and gives you the smoothest grays without even trying. Not to mention the fact that they run on low voltage, giving the customer a better experience as well as an easy heal. What I like most about the Superfly is that it allows me to tattoo the way I want. You don't have to adapt to the machine, the machine adapts to you." Mikey Carrasco.
